I'm back....
Hello, is there anyone there??........ sorry for the disappearance..... life and work just got in the way for a bit. I have been busy working on lots of exciting stuff....more of that later. But my main and most important reason for going AWOL is that I am pregnant with baby no. 2! We are thrilled although I am finding the whole pregnancy thing a million times more tiring this time round (must be something to do with chasing a toddler round all day).
Ps. You can get these great vintage posters here

London Maps
I could look at a map for hours, and I am loving these two contemporary prints of Central London – so much more attractive than an A to Z!

MAGAZINE CRUSH #3 - UPPERCASE
I love this magazine! It never fails to inspire me with its eclectic mix of interesting articles on creative people and things - the current issue for example has features on libraries in films, a clock collection and an artist who does animal portraits.... It somehow feels a really friendly and inclusive magazine – full of cool stuff but not off putting – and maybe that is to do with its colourful, quirky, slightly retro design.

SARA BERMAN'S COATS
A story: a couple of years ago I bought a fabulous red Sara Berman coat, mainly because it had the most amazing large black glass faceted buttons, which I fell in love with. After much wear I took it to a 'specialist' (and expensive) dry cleaners for a freshen up, they promised they would take care of it....but to my horror when I collected it the buttons had been destroyed (only one remained on the coat and it was a disgusting beige colour). Distraught I emailed the lovely people at Sara Berman who, after much digging around, found a complete set of new buttons for me which they posted the next day, free of charge!! How nice. Coat saved and me very very happy. Hurrah.
These two beauties are currently on sale.... decisions decisions....
1. New Raf in grey was £381 now £231
2. Anna Coat in navy was £479 now £287

OWLS, TIGERS, LEAVES AND TREES
You could make some really cool stuff with these amazing fabrics, available here.
I was looking for fabrics to make some new cushions covers, but I can't choose – I love them all...... so maybe I'll make a patchwork blanket for little H instead. Tigers and Owls might make a good theme for a boy.

I've always thought that mugs make excellent mini presents. Here are some lovely examples from the loveliest Cheshire Street shop, Shelf.
